13th April Round Up

What a fantastic day on Sunday at the first round of the North Wales league in Bangor where we had a whopping 22 athletes competing in this first round of the North Wales based competition for U11’s, U13’s and U15’s.
Well done to; Dylan, Eban, Elijah, Hugh, Jona, Joseph and Thor (our U11 boys), Alys, Charlotte, Faye, Liv, Tilda, Isla and Lois (our U13 girls), Dan (our U13 boy), Gethin, Thomas and Ed (our U15 boys) and Ella, Marcy, Elin and Aneia (our under 15 girls) 
Lots of personal bests achieved today and many amazing first time performances on the track, in the long jump and in shot put. Absolutely well done to each and every one of you

Meanwhile, over in Warrington we had the birthday girl Maddie, Ellis and Ruben in action.
Maddie pulled out a perfectly executed 600m coming in first 
in her heat and 4th overall. A great performance and ANOTHER PB
in her heat and 4th overall. A great performance and ANOTHER PBEllis gave a huge effort in the 75m, long jump and 600m, matching his 600m PB to the second and gaining 5 places in the last 200m! An amazing finish!
Last up was Ruben who did not disappoint! His first ever 1500m steeplechase race, he secured an admirable time of 5:00 and came in first place
