North Wales Cross Country League Oswestry

In the morning, in ht under 13 girls we had Elin, Liv and Freya all completing their fourth league race out of four. Not only did they get a participatory medal, but the girls, led home by Elin also won the league’s bronze team medal for their combined efforts - da iawn girls

 

 

Dylan was flying the lonely club flag for the under 11 boys, running a strong race and again achieving a participatory medal for his representation across the league races

 

 

Last race of the morning was the under 11 girls, where Lois stormed to an amazing win in her race . Lois, along with Maddie and Maisie clinched the U11 league’s team gold for the season . Maddie and Maisie also both completed their fourth race out of four, the accumulation of points gaining them a league individual Silver for Maddie and Bronze for Maisie - fantastic girls!

 

 

In the afternoon, the first race of the day was the ladies plus u17 men and over 65 men with great performances from Anne, Helen, Chris, Emma and Maureen.

 

Congratulations to Maureen who once again achieved overall victory within her age category W80

 

 

The last race of the season was the men. Well done to Jared, Russ, Neal and Ian for their fantastic efforts today around two and half laps of today’s great course. Also, well done to Russ who won a joint individual league silver in the M55 age group.
