North Wales Junior Cross Country League

On Saturday 19th February was the latest round of the North Wales Junior Cross Country League which was hosted by ourselfs around the grounds of Eirias Park. In the lead upto the race throughout the last week we had to contend with 2 big storms that made the ground very wet and muddy. 

There was nearly a 100 junior athletes that braved the very wet and windy weather to take part in different age group races. Well done each and every one of you. Special mention to Finley who finished third In the under 11 boys, Rosie who was 2nd in the under 13 girls and Alfie who won the under 13 boys. Team of the day once again was the mighty under 15 boys. Their dedication and team efforts mean these lads have once again dominated their age group and are hopefully on track for a team gold . Final league race is on the 5th March in Wrexham. Don’t forget this also doubles up as the north wales champs. Entries are welcome from all athletes even if you have never previously raced
