Weekend Round Up

Well done to our fab four who competed in the first of this years outdoor medal open events at a very chilly but dry Manchester.

Maddie was first up and itching to see if she could improve her 600m time from last year. Racing in the second heat, she led the race home in an amazing time of 2.04.26 (a whopping 9 seconds off her PB) finishing second overall in the under 11 girls.

Elin was next in the first of three heats in the 800m, finishing in 2.30.74, just shy of her PB, she finished 3rd overall in the under 15 girls in this well stacked event.

Sienna had an amazing day demolishing her PB’s; a huge jump of 4.11m in the long jump earnt her a silver while another PB of 10.56s in the 75m earnt her a bronze .

Last up was Lois, stepping up for the 1200m for the first time she raced strongly finishing as 3rd u13 girl in her heat and coming 5th overall in a great time of 4.16.1. Da iawn pawb, well done to you all .
