Weekend Wrap up

Wrapping up a busy weekend for our athletes and volunteers, Sienna and Hugo both attended the North West Combined Events session at the indoor track in Deeside where they were able to gain experience with jumps and throws.

This provided an excellent opportunity for them both to gain technical skills in field events within an indoor facility. They thoroughly enjoyed the day with both expressing how much they enjoyed high jump.

Roll on spring when we can continue offering these activities at Colwyn Bay. Results are not yet out but it’s looking like 9 year old Sienna is emerging as a potential KJT of the future as she cleared 1.20m in high jump and bettered her PB in shot with a throw of 5.50m. If results are verified we could be looking at two new club records! Well done to you both Sienna and Hugo
